If you’re thinking about changing your life and becoming a Dive Master or Diving Instructor, with Sairee Cottage, you must also be wondering about where to stay on Koh Tao.

Some people are seeking a more simplistic lifestyle and would love nothing more than a basic wooden bungalow, leaving the materialistic world behind them. Others want a few more of their creature comforts that they have become used to or perhaps even more luxurious if they have the budget. There are so many options to fit any price range.

Free Dorm Koh Tao

Your first option is a completely free stay in our dive pro dorm rooms during your PADI Divemaster or IDC Course. Save yourself the stress of finding a place and get to meet all the people you will be training with for the next few weeks. This also saves you a lot of money in case your on a tight budget or free up some money to spend on your first complete dive kit.

Wooden Bungalow Koh Tao

If you would prefer a bit more privacy you can rent a private room at many places across the island including Sairee Cottage. From as little as 4,000baht ($127USD/£91GBP) a month you can have a basic private room or a wooden bungalow. Often a single room with separate bathroom and sometimes a small balcony, these types of rooms are perfect for a first home in paradise.

Concrete Bungalows Koh Tao

There is a huge range of far more luxurious but more expensive accommodation scattered across the island, too Many of them recently built with all the mod cons you could possibly dream of. Fully furnished, Smart TV’s with endless channels (don’t worry there are plenty of channels in English), Netflix, Wi-Fi, spacious living rooms, sea view or even your own swimming pool it really is amazing the high levels of living you can have on such a small tropical island in the Gulf of Thailand. You can choose whether you want to live in a quite secluded area away from everyone, although you will need to rent your own motorbike or scooter to get around, or If you prefer you can be right in the heart of one of the three small towns of Koh Tao. Never more than a short walk to the nearest shop, bar, dive shop or restaurants you won’t even need to rent a motorbike or scooter to get around.

Where To Stay On Koh Tao

Whatever level of comfort you want there will be somewhere perfectly suited to you and easily sourced through several agencies or just by asking around. The only limits are your budget and whether or not you can ride a motorbike. So don’t worry about where to stay on koh tao, there are plenty of options for everyone!
