Among diving with a Koh Tao turtle, this has been another action packed couple of weeks at Sairee Cottage Diving. Firstly, a big congratulations to our Scuba Diving Instructor candidates who passed their PADI Instructor examination on the 18th of February. They will now continue on with their diving careers, and we wish them the best for the future. True to Sairee Cottage Diving style, a huge celebration was had at the Sairee Cottage Pool Bar with a barbecue and craft beers.

Out in the blue, the conditions have been improving with warmer waters and better visibility. The large turtle numbers have continued, with a highlight being able to follow a Hawksbill Turtle for over 15 minutes at Red Rock. The variety of marine life is what continues to impress ourselves and our divers. Today we saw a Hawksbill Turtle and a Banded Sea Snake just meters apart at White Rock.
The best part of our week was our dive trip to Lham Tian. It is a rarely visited dive site on the other side of the island. We are one of the few dive shops on Koh Tao who dive this under rated dive site. It is known for its amazing underwater scenery. This time we saw a massive school of Yellowtail Barracuda.

We continue to love our lives here on Koh Tao. It is an absolute pleasure to take our fun divers diving in such amazing conditions. Everyone gets excited about a turtle, so this makes our job even easier. So that we can continue to enjoy these amazing turtles, we need to do our part. We encourage everyone that dives with us to not use plastic bags and plastic straws wherever possible.
More news from Koh Tao coming soon, so check back frequently!
