[singlepic id=315 w=320 h=240 float=left]Huge congratulations to Sanne Lammerink and Gareth Jameson and Robin Saldanha on becoming our latest SSI Open Water Instructors.

All three of them began their diving with us last year and have progressed all the way to becoming polished dive professionals, with experience leading and teaching divers!  It’s a real pleasure seeing folk come and learn to dive with us and then continue all the way to accomplished scuba Instructors, becoming our good friends along the way.

[singlepic id=317 w=320 h=240 float=left]Robin completed her PADI Dive Master and Instructor course and then continued with her SSI Instructor crossover with Instructor Trainer Neil and has been assisting on courses and gaining experience ready to be unleashed on new students.

Gaz and Sanne chose to do all of their training with SSI, and have just spent the last 2 weeks with Neil completing their Instructor Training Course.  They worked really hard during the course with Neil setting high standards for them to meet.

We were very proud to host the Open Water training portion of the Instructor Evaluation with SSI Training Director, Al Stewart, our boat and facilities chosen by SSI to handle the afternoon assessments.

[singlepic id=316 w=320 h=240 float=right]Both Gaz and Sanne passed with flying colours and were joined by 4 candidates from other dive schools on Koh Tao. Everyone is still recovering from the after party, the beginning of which was hosted in one of our favourite places, HIPPO Bar & Grill.

It has also been a busy few weeks with our latest Dive Master Trainees too

Congratulations to Alex March on becoming an SSI Dive Master and also to Gail Pollitt, Alan O’Toole and Wess Rawsthorne on their Dive Control Specialist qualification. You have all worked really hard guys. Next stop SSI Instructor!  All of them have shown sound leadership skills and dive knowledge throughout their course.

Neil is off on holidays for a month, again ;), but already has several candidates lined up for the next Instructor course in April.

Chris and Sarah, both Dive Control Specialist Instructors, will be busy with the rest of our Dive Master Trainees for the next few weeks.

If you are interested in becoming a Dive Professional, don’t hesitate. Change your life today just by sending us an email and we can tell you all about it.
