Staff and DMT booze cruise with Sairee Cottage Diving Koh Tao!With the Christmas and the New Year period behind us, February kicked off to a bang with improving weather and calmer seas. With the sun out and the sea blue, people from all over the world have been flocking to Sairee Cottage Diving to enjoy our facilities.

Our diving instructor team has been kept busy introducing people to the world of scuba diving, transforming lives every day. With Open Water Courses starting and finishing every day, there has been a constant stream of new and happy faces at the dive shop. Many of these new divers have been continuing their diving education by taking part in Advanced Open Water and Rescue courses. An upgrade to the Sairee Cottage Pool Bar with the installation of a new large LED TV now allows us to the show the Open Water videos right here at the dive shop. This has been a highlight for the entire diving team, the students and also the other resort guests.

The Divemaster Training Program on Koh Tao

The Divemaster Trainee program has continued to grow throughout the month. Another very fun snorkel test having just passed, we look forward to the current students finishing their training. The current Instructor Development Course is also well underway with the Instructor Examination fast approaching on the 18th of February. We wish the best of luck to the candidates!PADI IDC Koh Tao - Become a diving instructor in paradise!

Finally, the Sairee Cottage Diving Team, Divemaster Trainees and diving instructor candidates were spoiled last Saturday with the inaugural Staff Booze Cruise. With burgers and beers, we cruised around Nang Yuan Island at sunset enjoying a beautiful sunset and of course many laughs!
