Christmas! And what better way to celebrate the festive period by qualifying as a Dive Master.

November and December have been a busy time for our Dive Master Instructors, Andy, Gordon and Neil. In the last few weeks we have had 9 new Dive Masters finish their training, and a further 6 who are just beginning their new adventure. So for some it’s time to put away the books and put your party hats on!!!

November saw Dave and Beccy from the U.K become PADI Dive Masters and also Monique from Canada and “Disco Dave” from the U.S.A. completing their SSI Dive Master course.

In December Andi from Germany and Gabby from Brazil have finished their PADI and SSI Dive Master courses, whilst Heidi from Finland, Adriana from the U.S.A. and Gabby from Switzerland took the next step up the professional ladder by completing their SSI Dive Control Specialist.

If you weren’t aware already, there is a final rite of passage that a D.M.T must take before they are truly qualified as a Dive Master. The legendary “Snorkel Test”.  This final test is often the most feared by our trainees. We don’t really understand why? It’s only a little bucket of fruit juice with maybe a hint of alcohol drank at speed through a snorkel whilst wearing a blacked out mask!

We wish all of these great guys and girls a bright future in the diving industry and good luck with their PADI Instructor Development Course.

Finally we would like to welcome our newest D.M.T’s, Emma, Lionel, Andre, Paul, Nathan and Bobby who all begin their PADI Dive Master.

They are all in for a treat. Our Instructor team has re-vamped the course outline and structure for 2014 ticking all the boxes for PADI and much, much more. We believe we have got the best Dive Master Trainee experience available, come and check it out!
